1 2 3
I know the season hasn't started yet, but who do people feel are a a few of the favorites to win each division?

Cheshire won it last year for DII, so look for them to be a serious contender again this year. Those boys played really hard and that was a great achievement for them and the town.

What do we think of St. Joesph's making the move from DI to DII? That's going to be interesting to see how they fare...

You think St. Joe's will win DII? Interesting. And Sheehan instead of Northwest Catholic? Huh.

Notre Dame-Fairfield and Fairfield Prep will definitely look to knock off Hamden from the top of D1

E.O. Smith may be the Cinderella Team story of DIII this year...they seem to have the right one game at a time mentality

West Haven has a lot of players this year that have been playing together for years. In the past they went to different high schools but watch out for this years team. They also have a 6ft3 goalie.

Dont know who the team to beat is but SCC teams are 14-1-1 against Fairfield County teams. So I would think team to beat is one of four teams from SCC. Northern hockey schools cant compete game in game out vs likes of Prep,NDWH,West Haven,Hamden. I think Hamden is too young this year to win it all. I think Div 1 champ comes out of Bennett Rink.

West haven's only real claim to fame right now is beating teams by a larger scoring margin than hamden did. That doesnt really mean anything. Let's see them beat some real division 1 competition first before we crown them champions.

I do recall HHS went on to win a state title last year too, so a couple of lop-sided West Haven wins don't mean too much yet.
