Matt Esposito (Green Mountain Glades)

Matt had an outstanding weekend in the Glades two-game sweep of the Capital District Selects. He started off the weekend with four assists in the Glades win on Saturday. He then proceeded to outdo himself on Sunday, netting a hat trick along with three assists, including helpers on the game-tying and game-winning goals. The 1992-born Fayetteville, NY, native currently sits in third place in total scoring (23 points), fourth place in goals (11), and in the top 10 in assists (12).

T.J. Massie
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
T.J. Massie (Junior Bruins)

T.J. may have only played in one game last weekend, but he certainly made the most of his opportunity. In a game where his Junior Bruins teammates were outshot 40-18, Massie turned away 38 shots to give his team a 3-2 victory. The Lexington, MA, native will play for UMASS-Lowell next fall.

Peter Sweetland
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Peter Sweetland (Syracuse Stars)

Pete had back to back two-assist games for the Stars this past weekend in their split with Apple Core. After being All-League last year in the Empire League, Pete is starting to really understand the intricacies of the game at the EJHL level. Three of his assists this weekend were highlight-reel back door feeds. Pete is a solid student with a 3.5 GPA and continues to get better every week. His grades and upside are attracting significant interest from Division One schools.
